Summary/Objective

 

This role requires maximizing revenue and profits by managing property rates, inventory and listings on all selling platforms  such as Airbnb, VRBO, Homeaway and many others. You’ ll be responsible for the overall Revenue, Sales, and Operational Performance of each property.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and statistics
  • Plan for market demand periods and develop a strategy that defines rate levels and structures, determining stay restrictions and other tactics to control inventory daily according to market demand factors through all distribution channels
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence information to track pricing and yield strategies to predict competitor reactions and patterns to changes of demand in the market
  • Maintain reports that evaluate revenue management performance including the source of business, booking pace and geographical analysis and assemble data in a presentable manner
  • Ensure rate parity and address disparity issues across all selling platforms
  • Onboard new properties
  • Create and optimize listings on Airbnb, HomeAway, VRBO and others
  • Supervise the review of all incoming reservations and check  that necessary adjustments  were made.  Answer prospective guest inquiries if necessary.
  • Use property management and other software tools to effectively manage properties
  • Work with the Marketing team to formulate and launch special rates and promotions

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’ s Degree required
  • 5-7 years in retail or hospitality or agency experience required
  • Experience in the real estate or home sharing market preferred, or in a relevant field such as hospitality or property management
  • Experience with Airbnb (as a guest and/or host) preferred
  • Analytic and quantitative skills are required
  • Financially savvy and skilled in reporting on all KPIs
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests, work effectively under pressure and under tight timelines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Passion to learn and willingness to work hard
