Summary:

The Senior Programmer Analyst will be part of a team that will develop Windows and web based applications, with the majority of the work being done in a Windows Forms development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Application development using VB.NET/C# and ASP.NET

  • Handle tasks/projects developed for our internal Windows and web based applications.

  • Participate in the transformation of a business requirement into a programming specification.

  • Update management on status of projects.

  • Meet deadlines and manage project expectations.

  • Handle more challenging tasks, from a logic perspective as opposed to a syntax perspective.

  • Work independently on one or more programming assignments.

  • Guide lower level programmers to assist with specific tasks or projects.


 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’ s degree in computer science or similar.

  • 6+ years experience working as an application developer.

  • 6+ years working knowledge of 2 or more of the following: VB.NET, C#,   ASP.NET and Oracle PL/SQL.

  • Experience with Excel Automation or Excel Add-In development preferred.

Skills:

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

  • Work on projects with minimal supervision and learn new skills independently.

  • Should be able to participate in client training as it relates to delivery of their own projects.
