My client is building an enterprise DevOps organization to help take our commerce operation to the next level. The mission statement for the Sr. Lead Architect is to enable self-service and continuous delivery for all application stacks. They are are looking for innovative thinkers who can help unlock the next generation of great ideas to help transform the company and make this a reality.
As Sr. Lead Architect, your focus will be to design an application delivery framework that can be leveraged across the entire enterprise and its concepts. This framework should be built to unlock the highest level of productivity from our developers and assure that our code is secure and always in a deployable state. We are working to instill an “ as code” methodology with the work that DevOps delivers and it is crucial that the architect drive the team to the same level of rigor that is expected of our development partners.
At the end of the day, our goal is to drive operational excellence and further the mission to be our customer' s first choice for home and heart-felt life events. The role of Sr. Lead Architect is pivotal to help us deliver this goal.
- Design enterprise level delivery systems
- Work with Development teams on SDLC methodologies
- Set coding guidelines for DevOps team and code review practices
- Improve and implement enterprise level conventions
- Mentor existing team members
- Evangelize DevOps best practices to the broader tech org
- 10 years experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Highly collaborative attitude working with dev teams
- Strong object oriented programming skills
- Experience with web and api development
- Experience designing and managing enterprise delivery solutions
- Experience designing and managing the SDLC cycle
- Highly skilled in configuration management
- Docker experience is a big plus
- Micro service experience is a big plus
- Experience implementing continuous delivery a big plus
- Python a big plus
