We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator / DevOps engineer to join our growing team! The
Senior DBA will analyze and formalize information needs and build database solutions to support those
needs as well as support operational db systems.

Responsibilities:
? Install, configure and monitor MySQL server, Cassandra, Hazelcast
? Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot replication
? Analyze query performance and provide solutions
? Support deployment pipelines leveraging Jenkins and Nexus
? Support production environments with Kafka messaging
? Configure and troubleshoot existing ansible automation
? Manage docker container deployments into Kubernetes environment
? Evaluate new DBMS and related technologies
? Provide on-call support to support heavy usage, high traffic databases
Requirements:
? B.S. in Engineering or equivalent
7+ years RDBMS DBA experience 3 of which are in MySQL and Cassandra supporting live and
development environments
? Knowledge of Ansible, Python, Jenkins, Nexus, kafka
? Demonstrable experience in physical and logical DB design for SQL and no-SQL data stores
? Experience with Shell scripting and DAO
? Experience with a Cloud environment strongly preferred
