Client' s Marketing Technology Team strives to create a world-class digital customer experience across all channels and all of their brand portfolio. Seeking a Project Manager within the Marketing Technology Team to drive business operations strategy, roadmap, and product launches. The position will focus on developing and running our Marketing Initiatives bringing project management skills to a technical business operations team with an unyielding focus on the customer experience.
? Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
? Ensure resource availability and allocation
? Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs appropriately
? Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
? Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
? Perform risk management to minimize project risks
? Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
? Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
? Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
? Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, supporting Agile, Waterfall and a hybrid given the team.
? Partner with your direct leadership as well as the broader leadership within IT and the Business in support of the delivery of the initiatives your team is assigned, working with them as the team identifies, evaluates, and mitigates the risks affecting the deliverables.
? Review and assist in the development of all technical documentation, including design documents, functional specifications understanding how they impact the defined business use cases.
? Ensure IT standards are followed

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Provides feedback on performance throughout the year, initiates performance plans and disciplinary actions at appropriate times, plans ahead to prepare and present appraisal to salaried employees within thirty days of due date (only exception is unplanned extended absence), consistently follows the CBA in performance management of represented employees.
COMPLEX COMMUNICATION: Sequences concepts logically; clarifies complex information; gains understanding of complex material; explains in a manner that makes technical information understandable to non-technical individuals.
CUSTOMER FOCUS: Communicates courteously and proactively, learns customer’ s short-and long-term needs, sees issues from customer’ s perspective.
? BS in a Computer Related Major and/or 5 plus years of IT specific career experience
? 3-5 Years of Project Management Experience, preferably in a retail environment
? Experience in building and supporting applications for enterprise sized user communities
? Ability to interact effectively with users on project-related matters. Can translate technical ideas into non-technical terms without sacrificing the quality of information given
? Retail Experience is a plus but not mandatory
? Ability to work effectively with people from various departments
? Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
? Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
? Effective communication, planning, organization and project management skills
? Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
? PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
