Project management skills and experience; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Candidates should be problem solvers, quick learners, attentive to detail, organized, and work well as part of a team.   Managing scope, managing the work plan, and monitoring progress pursuant to the project work plan are critical.

Subject Matter Expertise/Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience with project management techniques including planning, critical path, estimating, resource loading, issue tracking

  • Creation and presentation of status reporting

  • Knowledge of accounting processes and systems

  • 10+ years project management experience

  • 5+ years’ managing business process change related projects

  • 5+ years’ experience in insurance industry



  • Manage project processes including Planning, Change Control, Issue Resolution, Approvals/Signoffs, phase checkpoints

  • Maintain and monitor overall project “ plan,” including anticipated resource needs and conflicts, risks, management help required

  • Manage project scope

  • Create and distribute project related communications related to Task Force activities, IT and business needs

  • Escalate key issues as appropriate

  • Support other team members in expediting delivery of project results

  • Maintain “ single source of truth” for status and issues using a propriety tool

  • Interact with key business stakeholders to understand and resolve key issues, defects, and gaps in the solution

  • Work to ensure:

    • Business acceptance of program deliverables

    • Readiness for business adoption

    • Mitigation of project risks

  • Help orient key stakeholders with respect to their roles

  • US travel required
