The Project Manager for Network Services Delivery will develop and execute the project plan for efficient and cost effective/profitable service delivery for  end Customers at a national or international scale. 


The Project Manager (PM) oversees the delivery of multiple internal and/or external projects utilizing the products and services Client offers. Typically these projects will include minimally 20 site locations per customer implementation.  The PM is assigned to one or more Economic Territories (Eco-Territories). The PM is responsible for effective and successful communication about all aspects of multiple projects with the customer and the Client Account Manager, Customer Success LifeCycle Executive, Engineering, Network Operations Center (NOC) and necessary management.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·         Leads customer project meetings and provide customer project plans and weekly Project updates/status reports.

·         Collects data on key performance indicators and work statuses.

·         Coordinates onsite and off-site project activities of Client personnel and contractors including the execution of all work orders required to complete applicable contract RFCs.

The PM identifies all project tasks, assigns work and communicates frequently (weekly or more) and fluently through email, project meetings and one-on-one. When changes are made in the Customer’ s network, the PM is responsible for passing ITU/CI activation/deactivation/change information to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Billing.

The PM supervises project activities of project staff across multiple projects.   They also perform analysis of and reports on project data, including milestones, budgeting, on time delivery, and errors. It is the responsibility of the PM to resolve defects and errors. The PM must become fluent and practiced in the use of any and all project management tools. They must also adhere to fundamental project best practices and procedures set up by the Project Management Office (PMO).

Activities -   Creation and ownership of project plans using Project Management Tools including Microsoft Project, SmartSheets, and other tools for every project.

 -  Regular delivery on  a weekly basis of  Project Update/Status Reports

 -  On time project notification and communication of all work changes to Customer, Client and appropriate vendors including closing of work orders with SDMs and Finance

 - Timely completion of Root Cause Analysis on project delivery misses

Outcome KPIs 

1)      Percentage of project completed on time by Platform including the number of ITUs deployed

2)      Total cost to budget and timeliness by project managed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’ s Degree 

Work Experience: 2-10 years 

Requires advanced PM skills, resource and allocation skills, Excel, Bill of Material.  Also knows Budgeting, PM Methodology, and demonstrates strong Business-side writing and presentation skills.

Certifications: not required, but a plus:

PMP (or pursuing)
