Direct to Consumer (DTC) Platforms

MISSION/ROLE:

The Project Manager, DTC Platforms will be responsible for managing multiple, cross-discipline projects for our mission-critical, multi-channel and e-commerce storefronts. This position manages project development from inception through launch and follows a development methodology which includes gathering business and technical requirements, writing specifications and documentation, and managing the development, QA, UAT, and post-go-live processes. The Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating and driving tactical execution across diverse business groups and technology practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ?   Interviews business sponsor, business units, technical resources and vendors to create the project charter outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timing for a given initiative

  • ?   Facilitates and documents all meetings, discussions, follow-ups throughout the project lifecycle

  • ?   Creates detailed business and technical specification, data flows, and functional requirements

  • ?   Creates project estimates and detailed project task lists and timelines

  • ?   Communicates and facilitates cross-team and vendor communications

  • ?   Works through and resolves any issues that arise during the project lifecycle

  • ?   Works with the business to prioritize and re-prioritize requests made during the project to ensure

    that the project is on time and on budget or that new expectations are set

  • ?   Works with internal and external resources to deliver projects on time and on budget

  • ?   Tracks and reports on milestones, and keeps team apprised and ready for upcoming milestones

  • ?   Anticipates delays, downstream impact of delays, project risks and risk mitigation

  • ?   Leads, coaches, and motivates team members

  • ?   Develops tools and best practices for project management and execution

    Key Requirements:

    • ?   Deep understanding of e-commerce processes, standards, and best-practices

    • ?   Experience and strong familiarity with the underlying e-commerce and internet technologies

    • ?   5+  years’ experience  as a Project Manager

    • ?   Fluent with MS Project, Visio, Excel, Jira and other tools of the trade

    • ?   Leadership and team management capabilities and experience

    • ?   Excellent documentation and communication skills

    • ?   Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills

    • ?   Excellent team work and negotiation skills

    • ?   Ability to adapt to changing project circumstances

    • ?   Possession of a strategic perspective and operational orientation

    • ?   Familiarity or Experience with Agile principles and methodologies.

    • ?   PMI certification preferred
