Configures, supports, maintains, and/or resolves incidents on enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and integrated data structures of applications software. Support integration between PLM and 3D systems. Involved in planning of system maintenance and upgrade deployments as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Provides operational end user support, guidance, and incident management for data integration issues to agreed service levels. Performs or supports testing and maintenance of system connections.

  • User Support – monitor support queue, provide first line support, and work with vendor support organizations to provide technical solutions for system issues

  • User Requirements – analyze ongoing user requirements and provide best fit solutions while maintaining integrity existing application

  • Documentation – maintain clear documentation for systems integrations, configurations, customizations, and requirements

  • Development – code development, as necessary, using any of the following: Java, SQL, XML, Web Service Integrations (SOAP-based and REST)

  • Database queries – write SQL queries against Oracle relational database as required

  • Data fixes / scripting – write custom code or scripts for any data fixes

  • Stay current professionally – keep abreast of latest trends and ideas in Product Development and RFA community


Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree in technical or analytical field or equivalent practical experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in integrating 3rd party business applications

  • Well acquainted with multiple PLM modules like BOM Management, Materials Management, and Product Configuration

  • Extensive experience in design, analysis, configuration management, requirements gathering, testing, business process mapping, functional implementation, and support of PLM modules

  • Functional knowledge of one or more 3D/CAD solutions for soft goods (apparel, footwear, etc.)

  • Knowledge of FlexPLM and/or RomansCAD is a plus

  • Familiarity with a wide variety of PLM practices and procedures

  • Experienced in working with COTS vendors
