My client is looking for an experienced Manager eCommerce Marketplace and drop ship to join the team to drive rapid growth in their  eCommerce channel.

Specifically, this person will be focused on developing the eCommerce strategy for Amazon, Walmart and other 3rd party Marketplaces and drop ship partners with a full understanding of all the necessary supporting functions and roles of eCommerce, such as pricing, logistics, implementation, customer acquisition, product development, merchandising, and branding. This position will be responsible for site operations, online marketing, merchandise assortment, merchandising, promotions and brand maintenance.


  • Develop and execute Marketplace and drop ship strategy. These include short and long-term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance.

  • Efficiently execute tasks required to maintain Marketplace and drop ship accounts: setting up, operating, monitoring, reporting, and inventory.

  • Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.

  • Develop time and action calendars with processes and procedures to ensure actions are successfully completed

  • Manage relationships with digital agencies and external third parties

  • Plan out and execute marketplace promotions to maximize growth

  • Daily and weekly sales reporting. Drill down into marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances to business. Understand online traffic patterns, segment customer behaviors and prioritize initiatives to grow businesses.

  • Ensure copy and meta data are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines

  • Develop and implement the assortment and inventory plan to match the sales plan.  Work with planning, merchandising and sales to maximize inventory. Lead collaboration and review meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of forecasts and the achievement of fill rates to required levels.

  • Conduct business reviews with key accounts, manage major customer relationships, and present relevant findings to leadership

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and business relationships to expand revenue, profitability, and market share

  • Evaluate issues and effectively communicate technical and non-technical solutions to peers and customers.




  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent work experience in Digital Marketing, Merchandising or related field with 3-5+ years of experience in eCommerce

  • Experience with eCommerce Marketplaces and Online B2B Retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Macy’ s, JCPenney, Kohl’ s, Target, etc.

  • MS Office Software proficiency; Highly proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills to inform digital growth & conversion strategies.

  • Demonstrates effectiveness in written and verbal communication

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and market conditions

  • High aptitude for learning new technologies

  • 5+years in business or marketing related role specializing in the consumer products industry

  • Mastery of Marketplace backend tools, processes and systems.

  • Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and content management systems and processes

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative
