Exciting opportunity for a Manager of Sales Finance.  The position reports to the Director, Sales Administration  and is based in our New York City office.

Role Mission:  Support the field organization and our business partners related to planning, reporting, enhanced analytics and training related to sales planning, staffing, KPI’ s and system implementations.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Formulation, analysis & distribution of Sales/Staffing reports for 2 fragrance divisions. Proactively identify operational & analytical requirements & work with internal departments/external partners to design & implement reports.

  • Weekly inventory analyses.

  • Assist in the formulation of Field Sales Goals & retail door staffing budgets.

  • Assist in the annual Space & Location audit.

  • Work with Regional VPs to develop Account Executive Training programs related to reports/systems that will result in increased sales, operational productivity & ROI. Manage relationship with our outside staffing partner.

  • Provide weekly TY/LY promotion summaries.

  • Provide ad-hoc analyses for vendor meetings, market tours and location projects.

  • Interface with Sales Promotion to enhance current reporting. Provide recommendations on how this data can be better utilized to maximize growth.

  • Formulate, monitor and provide weekly updates for all Field contests.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Finance/Accounting experience.

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables/V-Lookups) and Power Point skills and the ability to quickly learn newly implemented systems. Point person for the field related to reports and system training.

  • Highly Analytical – must possess the ability to look at data in its rawest form and formulate reports that highlight trends and provide recommendations as to where opportunities exist for increased sales and productivity.  

  • Ability to handle large amounts of data.

  • Highly organized, focused and possesses the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact with Senior Management and Field personnel.

  • Industry experience a plus.

A Long Island resident, Tara is a lacrosse mom and can be found on the field every weekend cheering on her 3 kids. Her husband is a Battalion Chief for the FDNY in the Bronx. Tara also loves sitting on the beach while reading a good book!
