Position Summary: In this critical and highly visible role the Lead Integration Architect/Developer will be responsible for all things integration. This includes designing, building, managing and supporting all integrations to and from various applications within the direct to consumer technology space. This is a hands on role that requires development and support of the integrations you will build, or support of integrations system integrators build for. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring system integrators, vendors and internally adhere to architectural standard, governance and best practices when building integrations. Specific examples include: auditing, error handling, logging, PCI etc. You will also be required to ensure ALL documentation is standardized and adhered to, and cataloged so anyone can review and us this documentation to support the integrations. You will be providing the guidance and direction to the senior integration architect/developer. You will direct the work of the sr. integration architect/developer, checking on that work, ensuring it meets standard and governance etc, and coach them. This is on top of the hands on work the Lead integration architect will be expected to perform themselves. Duties and Responsibilities: • Deep knowledge of integration architecture principles and able to describe how they have utilized them on several projects, this person will be responsible for working across multiple large projects to either build integrations and do the work, or to ensure the system integrators build the integrations correctly and document them • This person will be responsible for ensure standards, best practices are adhered to related to the design, develop and implementation of all integrations either that they build or review and ensure system integrators adhere to, and document • This person will also be responsible for architecting the integration space across all areas of the direct o customer technology space which includes (POS-NCR, Web-Magento, OMNI OMS – Sterling, CRM, Loyalty and MMS/inventory-MI9) • This person will be responsible for understanding all applications in the DTC technology space, including how the data is used and will be responsible to build interfaces from those applications to mulesoft (our ESB) and from the mulesfot (ESB) to the destination application to consume. • This person will be required to learn many aspects of how Eileen fisher does integration today and make recommendations for new tools to help build and automate these integrations from a testing perspective both in prod and non-production. • Deep understanding of how to design, develop, manage, and support integrations between systems like Magento, MI9, POS (NCR), Order management, CRM/Loyalty to mulesoft, and from mulesoft to the receiving systems. • Demonstrated architecture experience with Service Interface Design utilizing Service or Data Bus technology with a focus on performance is required PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED. Education: 4 year Degree Required Experience: • Strong UML experience; experience modeling with Mulesoft/TIBCO/IBM Rational tools is highly preferred, ideally Rational Software Architect or Rational Rose; experience with other Rational tools is helpful • Experience with Service and API management applications (e.g. IIB, Layer7, APIc, WSRR, etc.) is required, SOA, Webserive experience • Clear understanding of componentized application architecture • Strong understanding of the difference between architecture and design • Significant architecture experience with a heavy basis in System Integration o Capable of making sound decisions based on experience and critical thinking o Experience in a technical leadership capacity o Excellent communication skills, influencing abilities o Experience with SAFe Agile methodology preferred o Will be the owner and SME for all things integration – this person will need to know how to build interfaces to and from multiple systems / applications they may not know today but will be required to learn and then design and build those interfaces. o Retail industry knowledge required • Thought Leadership • Logical Thinking • Realizing client vision and be able to position business benefits with Technology solutions. • Strong Communication Skills – written and spoken • Well-read in terms of trends, opportunities in the IT Integration space. • Professional Skills • Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal improvement of business and technical skills, including the ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques • Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality • Ability to work with various team members within IT who are at different experience levels • Experience of Providing Solutions/ Middleware Architecture • Experience designing, developing and architecting all types of integrations • Experience learning different applications that you don’ t have experience with, and can learn these applications to build integrations from those applications • Mulesoft experience very a must • Is an currently an integration architect • Is able to do development of integrations • Understands and has worked with various middleware tools • Strong technical back ground working with newer industry integrations tools like (Mulesoft, TIBCO, open source etc) • 5-7 years of experience with integrations specifically • 5-7 years of retail experience • Must be able to manage a Sr. Integration developers and provide governance, best practices and development to that individual. Must be able to check their work and make changes. • This role does require development activities as well as support both on Mulesoft, API, Web services, or SFTP. Desirable Skills • Enterprise / Integration Architect • Business Process Management – Working with Business SME’ s in understanding requirements, process modeling & their optimization. • Experience of working with Technology Vendors particularly in the middleware space. • Strong technical back ground with state-of-the-art technology today with cloud offerings, hosted solutions, Industry specific solutions in EDI, EAI, B2B, BPM, MDM, SAP and MFT • Around 7-9 years of relevant experience • Bachelor’ s Degree in Engineering or Master’ s in Computer Applications. o Understanding of rules engine and business process management (BPM) applications and tools is preferred • An MBA ( Non part- time) from a Premier school would be advantageous
