The FP&A Manager will work across the company with all departments and business leaders to enhance all forms of financial planning and analytics to aide leadership in driving key business decisions. The Manager will also play a key role in supporting the next phase of NetSuite ERP implementation. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at collaborating with business partners, working with large data sets and operating in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead the development of collaborative financial projection and annual budget

processes; validate and analyze key assumptions and KPIs

Leverage existing financial systems to standardize and enhance management reporting and define KPI metrics

Create visibility to customer and channel profitability to identify opportunities to

prioritize investments and resources.

Develop and prepare monthly and quarterly business and board level reporting

packages

Provide analysis of financial results and variances and identify areas of concerns and opportunities for improvements

Implement changes to enhance management reporting and analysis, support business intelligence initiatives and process improvements

Develops and builds financials models to allow leadership team an effective means to decision making

Participate in and review the analysis, current reporting designs, and refine KPI metrics criteria to align with changes in the business

 

Key Attributes, Skills, and Requirements include:

 

Minimum 5 years of in retail FP&A environment

Advanced Excel and financial modeling; proficient in PowerPoint and Word

Works well in a fast paced environment; effectively adapts to shifting plans and priorities

Results oriented and proven ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multiple functional areas

Able to communicate effectively and confidently with multiple levels of an organization

Cosmetics in a year and half.  In her over two years with e.l.f. she helped create and structure how the stores run today, from both a service and staffing perspective, to the operational way in which they function. Really having to become a jack of all trades; she is very proud of what was accomplished there.

A career goal is to be seen as an HR expert in the recruiting field.  Tara wants to leverage her experience in running stores, HR and Learning & Development to reach a broader scope of candidates. Her desire is to build trust with the hiring managers and HR so that they think of our company first before going to any other recruiting firm. In speaking to some fun facts, when not at work, she likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible; and loves to run, bike, hike and ski. A Long Island resident, Tara is a lacrosse mom and can be found on the field every weekend cheering on her 3 kids. Her husband is a Battalion Chief for the FDNY in the Bronx. Tara also loves sitting on the beach while reading a good book!
