Serve as the day-to-day coordinator between division marketing teams and Corporate marketing teams, managing the successful delivery of creative, media, press, and experiential creative projects that help carry out our organization’ s mission, vision, and strategies.

 

To support divisions as an internal account executive by collectively determining project goals, deliverables, and project schedules based on each community’ s market positioning and sales objectives, then coordinating those deliverables alongside corporate marketing teams and outside agencies (where necessary) with an efficiency that optimizes each division’ s performance.

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

Proactively seeks frontline community feedback from division sales and marketing teams to shape effective marketing strategies. • Works with division marketing teams to determine target demographics for each community, and unique positioning message. • Develops cohesive multi-channel marketing campaigns that communicate our communities as upscale lifestyle opportunities, while upholding our brand standards and effectively driving qualified prospect traffic. • Works with the division marketing teams to determine project schedules and budgets that meet division objectives; continually monitors those budgets and schedules to meet deadlines and manage expectations. • Manages project flow for all creative deliverables through the entire process, working closely with internal team players: corporate creative, digital, and social media teams, and outside agencies as needed. • Leads meetings between division and Corporate marketing teams as needed to foster effective communication channels. • Monitors monthly reporting to forecast necessary adjustments to marketing strategy. • Proposes solutions and recommendations that streamline and optimize communication and processes. • Maintain and improve a consistent company image and consumer awareness through a common approach to all consumer facing marketing materials. • Develop, control and monitor advertising/marketing budgets in conjunction with regional and annual plan established with the operating areas. • Design, direct and analyze qualitative research when necessary to determine market depth and sales rates for a specific product and community. • Identify, develop and implement all direct marketing opportunities and efforts. • Identify specific improvement initiatives by monitoring customer satisfaction reports.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

BS degree in Marketing and Communication, plus eight years of related experience in marketing/project management. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver’ s license. Proficiency in media strategy – digital, print and experiential. Ability to interpret quantitative reports to drive change in effective marketing strategies. Efficient and effective project management skills. Effective time management skills. Effective negotiating and listening skills. Strong communication skills, and ability to forge new communication channels.

Cosmetics in a year and half.  In her over two years with e.l.f. she helped create and structure how the stores run today, from both a service and staffing perspective, to the operational way in which they function. Really having to become a jack of all trades; she is very proud of what was accomplished there.

A career goal is to be seen as an HR expert in the recruiting field.  Tara wants to leverage her experience in running stores, HR and Learning & Development to reach a broader scope of candidates. Her desire is to build trust with the hiring managers and HR so that they think of our company first before going to any other recruiting firm. In speaking to some fun facts, when not at work, she likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible; and loves to run, bike, hike and ski. A Long Island resident, Tara is a lacrosse mom and can be found on the field every weekend cheering on her 3 kids. Her husband is a Battalion Chief for the FDNY in the Bronx. Tara also loves sitting on the beach while reading a good book!
