A Summary: This Business Systems Analyst has experience working with Retail business processes. Understands retail planning, merchandising and store operations. In this role, you will analyze business needs and create IT concepts to implement new processes, solutions, applications and systems. You will also be responsible for providing application support by analyzing and solving application or configuration issues.

Expectations: Primary (Essential) Functions:

• Support Retail Merchandising and operational business processes focused but not limited using SAP Retail.

• Analyze data across business departments using SAP BI and other tools to assist Retail decision makers

• Integrate and implement new processes and solutions into existing system landscape

• Participate in, manage, drive US and international IT related projects

• Gather and document business requirements, processes changes and workflows

• Integrate and implement new processes and solutions into existing system landscape

• Create business test scripts

• Conduct formal testing on behalf of the business for system modifications and fixes

• Maintain communication with the business on project status and issue resolution

• Participate in application support by analyzing and solving application or configuration issues

• Manage and monitor system communication (interfaces)

• Work closely with team members to design, develop and optimize cross-module functionality

• Create/edit training documentation

• Deliver training to end users

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to interface with internal customer and IT Management and communicate complex ideas clearly

• Good knowledge of SAP systems AFS, Retail, BI and interfaces

• Understands Retail and supply chain processes with experience in supporting SAP systems and implementing and testing new processes.

• Experience with CRM and Clienteling tools is a plus.

• Ability to apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve business process and procedural problems

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to prioritize and manage commitments and adjust to changing priorities

• Able to build relationships and collaborate within an international organization

• Ability to speak, write and understand in English; ability to use words meaningfully in communication, thinking and planning; ability to speak and present information and ideas to individuals or groups

• Ability to speak in Spanish or Portuguese would be a plus.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

• Experience in SAP Retail. Experience in SAP AFS and CAR in addition would be a plus.

• Application Support experience in resolving day-to-day application issues and working with end-users.

• Basic knowledge about system communication like IDOC/ALE and monitoring tools

• Skilled in using applications to create/edit process flows, configuration, transports and decision trees

• Minimum Bachelor’ s degree from an accredited college or university.
