  As Business Architect, BI Developer, you will translate business requirements into detailed technical design and programming specifications. You will develop robust, user-friendly BI tools and reports, such as physical data models and dimensional analyses. You will consult with internal customers to solve complex business challenges and implement ETL pipelines that provide the insights and actionable intelligence that will move the business forward.

As part of our global digital solutions team, you will interrogate systems and datasets, generate process improvement proposals, and gain organizational alignment and support for change. The successful candidate will help enable a self-service reporting platform, prepare users by designing and conducting training programs, provide reference materials and superior support. This position requires fierce attention to detail, the ability to draw big picture conclusions and make actionable recommendations based on an understanding of organizational strategic goals.

Work with all levels of the organization to turn requirements into valuable insights
Become a subject matter expert on new BI reporting systems and methodologies, as well as provide recommendations on making improvements
Understanding your business stakeholders’ objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance
Generate process improvement ideas and gain organizational alignment and support for change
Scope project effort and timelines supported by document findings and requirements
Create business intelligence tools and reports, such as physical data models and dimensional analyses
Utilize strong SQL development experience to build effective and scalable BI solutions including metadata modeling, building data marts, designing reports and dashboards, performance tuning and application security
Create new databases and integrations
Help enable self-service reporting platform. Prepare users by designing and conducting training programs; providing reference materials and superior support.
Administer and maintain reporting servers, manage software testing, upgrades and maintenance
Own, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, including escalating and managing problems with vendors
Provide on-call support during and after hours to meet business demands
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities including pursuing certifications, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
Protect organization' s value by maintaining confidentiality
Share knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow BI’ s total impact to the organization
Perform other duties as required.

Bachelor’ s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business Administration, preferred
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a business analyst and SQL developer
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience developing with BIRST, PowerBI, Tableau, or a similar tool
Experience working as part of a sales organization in a BI/Analytic role preferred
Consultative mindset, ready to support strategy development and collaborative in a team setting
Design thinking and ability to synthesize many ideas into a big-picture view that shows the connection between business intention and business action
Confidence to challenge validity of data, assumptions, status quo and be an agent for change
Excellent data interpretation and communication skills; ability to summarize complex findings clearly and concisely
Strong conceptual, analytical and creative thinker with drive, self-reliance and strong organizational skills
Available for afterhours/weekend work and after hours on-call support with good customer service, as required
Eager to set priorities and manage multiple/changing projects at a time in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Learn new systems quickly and personally drive continuous improvement in the organization
