Job Description

This position can be based in San Dimas, CA, Irwindale, CA, or Alvarado, TX.

  • Guarantee that the production sites are operational from an Information Systems & Technology perspective, ensuring that the applications and infrastructure are functional to run the manufacturing sites. 

  • Leads major Manufacturing IS&T projects in coordination with Manufacturing teams and Central (Headquarters) teams.

  • Works closely and partners with the Manufacturing Team and Central Organization to identify opportunities and to define the IS&T roadmap in alignment with the global strategy. Continually ensures all Manufacturing initiatives are in line with this strategy. They are expected to be fully knowledgeable about the Manufacturing process and projects in Central and other countries and can only do so by building strong relationships with their counterparts throughout the world. 

  • Responsible for leading Information Technology (IT) projects in every IT domain (i.e. IT Infrastructures, Workstation, Network & Telecom, Collaborative Solutions) for the manufacturing sites

  • Responsible for the IS&T Budget construction and follow-up

  • Manages the Manufacturing IS&T Team, internal and external members, supporting the US activities.

  • Reports to the US General Manager and works closely with the CIO Americas on all IS&T Manufacturing activities.
Application & Infrastructure Management

  • Represent US IS&T in worldwide community (Central and other zones); Ensure US IS&T initiatives are in alignment with global strategic direction

  • Act as key point of contact for business teams in relation to Manufacturing Applications & IT infrastructure

  • Conduct frequent touch points with department heads to ensure application and infrastructure management service level agreements are being met

  • Partner with Local and Central counterparts to define any new initiatives; act as an internal consultant by partnering with department heads and business key users to define project scope and requirements; propose for arbitration to the General Manager, CIO and CTO Americas.

  • Responsible for the overall support of Manufacturing applications and IT infrastructure; Ensure timely and accurate updates of his/her US application and infrastructure scope landscape; Contributor to the application and infrastructure management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements. Define and apply the security policy related to the applications and infrastructure in his/her scope

  • Owns monitoring and production support of US Manufacturing applications and IT Infrastructure
Project Management

  • Create and maintain the overall project plan for new business project requests;

  • Work in conjunction with department heads and key users to define project scope and requirements;

  • Coordinate/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T and Central IS&T in France;

  • Participate in functional and integration testing;

  • Provide management status reporting, including communication to Executive Team and Central IS&T

  • Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios with the business; organize and coordinate UAT to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented;

  • Co-manage resources with Solutions, Infrastructure management and Central/Zone counterparts
Budget and Vendor Management

  • IS&T Expenses and Project budgets are prepared, presented and followed in order to ensure committed expenses do not stick out of approved budgets.

  • Work with vendors to obtain appropriate levels of capability if in-house expertise is missing.

  • Work with vendors when external resources are required to deploy or support.

  • When working with outside vendors they must be aware of specific scope of work and must negotiate prices.
Protecting the Brand (Security)

  • Based on security audit performed, apply and promote good IS&T practices in US scope to encompass all security breach identified.


  • 15-20 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in IS&T and Manufacturing (1)

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing systems:

  • Experience in implementing ERP projects (Manufacturing) (1)

  • Ability to engage effectively with executive-level management within both IS&T and business; (1)

  • Good general skills in IT (no expertise required in any domains but must be capable to address any IT fields) (2)
